Muscat Ottonel is a grape variety that probably comes from the Loire and is no longer commonly grown in Europe. What a shame! Because our semi-dry wine clearly shows what can be achieved from this variety: namely an elegant, golden yellow wine with an intense nutmeg scent and the unique combination of spice and magnificent ripe fruit that only a member of the Muscat family can achieve. The scent of Muscat Ottonel includes pears, lychees, Cape gooseberries and apricots as well as lilies and fragrant roses, accompanied by cloves and nutmeg. On the palate, the Muscat Ottonel shines with good concentration and at the same time has a playful citrus freshness that gives it a pleasant lightness and quickly makes you want to take the next sip.
